Back-breaking Work

We got out the scale this morning and weighed Isaac's back pack. 30 pounds!!! More than 1/3 of his weight!

    YIKES!

    I know that my daughter's bag is pretty heavy, but I never weighed it. Something I noticed in the last two years is that she carries several things up front ... her purse (girls need their things), her lunch bag, and (now) her gym bag ... it just doesn't all fit in her backpack. The weight is great, but it may be more evenly distributed ;)
