This child would walk for miles and miles if I let him.
His own slow pace, sometimes veering off the path to check out anything that catches his eye, or see how different walkways feel underneath his feet.
I'm trying to teach him to stay on the sidewalk, as he sometimes makes a mad dash for the road. Just to keep me on my toes I suppose.
He looks like he knows where he's going and he's determined to get there. So cute!

Little boys are so fast...they just dissappear or climb up things like monkeys!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great moment captured! He has the purposeful pace of a business person on 5th avenue in nyc! Give the kid a fedora and a briefcase.... LOVE IT!!
ReplyDeleteMy baby boy just turned 15 months. I'm on the same page with the outdoor walking. He just got his first taste of outdoor freedom. Poor thing has been bundled and carried at all times all winter. He's LOVING it!
ReplyDeleteYou have the right attitude: treasure these moments. They bloom so quickly ! Don't you love watching them explore the world? It's fun to rediscover things through their eyes. Almost like living childhood all over again. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe wonder a child exhibits at a new discovery is truly a blessing in this world. And when they discover that they can walk around freely, look out world!
ReplyDeleteWe try the stay on the sidewalk talk also. We also tell the girls they can't go past the sidewalk while in the driveway. But, our youngest daughter loves to go up people walkways. Esp during the holidays to look at the decorations.
ReplyDeleteCute cute hoodie, what a doll.
ReplyDeleteSo are your other kids jealous that Patrick is the favorite child (judging by your last three posts)??? I kid, I kid!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this picture of him in motion. Very cute little guy you have there.
