Last year, I posted these photos of Patrick's new shoes:
This year I'll post these photos of Patrick's new shoes:
Darn him. I love this age so much. He is so sweet. He is still such a baby. But he is getting slimmer and stretching out to the sky. His arms are losing their rubberband fatness and his cheeks are slimming down. (Both sets.) What will change next year? I don't even want to imagine.
Love these!
ReplyDeleteMy little sweetie is ready for a first pair soon!
Time...oh how it flies
Enjoy the day
Ugh I know! When those little pop-it-bead arms go away it is so sad....my sweet Caroline (my 3rd) is 10 months old already and I'm already craving another precious baby to hold! :-0 I think I'll wait close to another year before having another...is there ever a time that I won't want another child? I'm just crazy, madly in love with my babies and I'm struggling with the concept of saying "we're done!" Help! :o)
ReplyDeleteIs today your baby's birthday? Mine is 10 today...sweet girl!
ReplyDeleteWell, there's only one cure Sarah...time for another one ;)
ReplyDeleteOh how I miss that age :( No more little shoes for us :( But I have to be okay with that :) Sure is hard though!
ReplyDeleteOh my! This gives me a preview of what my little Carter will look like in a year. He is 16 months now and I adore his fat baby cheeks so much! I have a thing for his little shoes - we lost one yesterday, and I actually cried =( Love the pictures!
ReplyDeletei got annie new shoes yesterday and it was heart breaking.
ReplyDeletebuying school suplies?! she was being SO cute and everyone around us every where was looking at her with that "she is DARLING!" look because she was.
and then the shoes! she was SO happy and said "thank you mommy!" so many times.
oh i just can't get a grip on all this change.
:)
he is the cutest little guy.
Oh, look at that little chunk of love! I think my little chunk of love is almost exactly a year younger than your boy, so he resembles that first photo quite a bit. I just can't believe this time next year he'll be photo #2...no I can not believe it! I love having a toddler baby around the house, they are so much fun! Alas, he is my last little one. I am in no hurry for #4 to grow up! Enjoy those new kicks big boy! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little guy!
ReplyDeleteHe sure is a cutie! My youngest and last baby is 18 months old now.... wishing time would stand still for awhile :)
ReplyDeleteMay he have many happy and healthy travels in his new shoes.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how you revel in a certain stage, and how quickly it passes.
ReplyDeleteSigh.
I now see why our grandmothers used to bronze baby shoes.
Sigh.
Just precious!
ReplyDeleteOh that chubby little finger pointing at his foot *swoon!*
ReplyDeleteSuch a cutie! Great pictures to see how much he's grown in a year. Happy and sad...huh.
ReplyDeletehe is so cute! how did his toilet training go? i'm about to start with my 2 year old daughter, thanks for the great tips.
ReplyDeleteI love these pics! New shoes are the best! My little guy is stretching out too--I think he burns all of his calories climbing and running and jumping and turning everything on and off--no more baby fat!
