And here's my son, Matthew, that you never knew existed because he hates getting his picture taken in a bad way.
Just like me.
But I got this one while he was famished, right before practice.
It was a beautiful day so I thought we'd go and watch is practice for awhile. Plus Mr. Two Year Old who worships the ground Matthew walks on, insisted. Like he does everytime.
Matt loves this sport and has blossomed into a leadership position. Here's a shy 3rd child, who calls plays, and runs the ball.
I'm impressed.
He's #32.
Love the pics! I hadn't scrolled down far enough on the photo of Matthew eating, and it looked like her was wearing SUPER furry shoes. Then I saw the rest of the dog. :)
ReplyDeleteMy nextdoor neighbor has three boys, and the older 2 play football at the high school my hubby teaches at. Last season, one broke his leg and the other broke his arm. So I think my boys will be sticking with soccer for a while ;) I'm glad your Matthew found something he enjoys and he's good at!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh...just looking at that last photo of baby brother trying to get his brother's attention.....warms the heart.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Matthew....my nephew plays "futeball" in Texas. They are very serious about their futeball there.
What a precious blog~ Love how that baby loves his Hero!!! And, you shy son has certainly come into his own playing football! Everyone needs something special they can call their own-don't they? Hugs- Diana
ReplyDeleteLol at Lisa's comment! I had the exact same thought! Loving the pics. Way to go Matthew!
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing about the furry shoes!
ReplyDeleteMy Connor is DYING to play FUTEbol....(how cute by the way!)....anyway, I feel like the worst mom in the world bc I am so selfish with our time and don't want to give up our family time for practices and games ;( ugggh! I guess I need to just give it up a little ;) Thanks for this post :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed this post and the pictures, I have one cute ten year old boy who doesn't make the blog much either because of his refusal to take pictures. It's nice that he's showing some leadership on the field. Cute boys!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love how little brother worships the ground big brother walks on! You just know that's exactly who he wants to be like one day when he grows up! So sweet!
ReplyDelete32 is my lucky number :)
ReplyDeleteLove this post! I recently posted about my 6th graders love of football. Isn't it exciting to watch?
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to exploring your blog more...
