I am a total list person and my notebook is always near. My 1 year old even knows what to do if I ask her to bring me my notebook. But, I do have to use the restroom occasionally or cook a dinner or two - so I am always coming back to Andrew's type of entries on my list!!! Love it!
I am really looking forward to hearing about your trip. We live about 2 hours away from Seaside and have never done more than drive through - but we're in love and determined to a have a vacation there before my husband is stationed somewhere further away!
Love the pic!! A friend of ours had a pic like this for their Christmas card...they wore Santa hats on and it said "Up to our necks with Christmas cheer!" Too funny!
I SO know the feeling of vacation withdrawal. We just got back Sat. night from a week in the NC mountains. Ahhh...total relaxation and amazingness. I was feeling really blue yesterday...I think I'm snapping out of it. Glad to see I'm not the only one. Andrew is just too cute with his to do list addition. ;)
This doesn't relate to your post, but I wanted to thank you for the Picasa Header tutorial. I made a new header based on your tutorial and I really love it. You have opened up new collage photo worlds for me, and I thank you so much! I would love other Picasa tutorials, too! Thanks and you have a beautiful family!
Love that pic of Patrick! We are headed home from a trip to Philly...my reality sets in tonight :( although....I do LOVE home....I must say....anything over 4 nights away is too much for me =) I'm such a loser =) when I get home....I am calling a locksmith and have him install a card lock like they put on hotel doors....my boys are easily entertained I guess =) I bet they opened that a zillion times =) think it would be as much fun at home?? Heeeeheee oh yea....I think you would've loved the church we celebrated Mass in yesterday.....St. Joseph's....the oldest Catholic church in Philly! So neat!
Too funny! Ellie added "get a puppy" to our summer to-do list yesterday. She and Andrew would get along famously!
So glad you were able to get away with your family on a fun trip! I do the same thing...I think I took over 800 pics in Maui. I still haven't even gone through them all and probably never will. SO dumb - but easy to get carried away when you are surrounded by beautiful scenery!
just got back from our fl vacation too! you are so right...i think my photo number is way up there too. love andrew's note! totally something my girls would do too have a happy day
In his defense, it was spelled correctly and punctuated appropriately, so it was very possible you would have mistaken it for your own. ;) Too funny! Glad you had a nice vacation!
I was there too and I thought of you. I said to my husband that would be so funny if we bumped into the ladies blog I follow. I love your blog we actually stayed about 15 minutes away on Dune Allen Beach further up 30a. We went to Seaside twice. We loved Alys Beach and just the whole area. We left Saturday. I would have loved to have seen you you would have thought I was crazy running up to you!
I totally know the feeling...I have been having it since March of this year, since we didn't take our yearly beach vacation. I still need one...I miss the smell, the sand, the ocean...pretty much everything about it! And this MN summer is for the birds...rain, rain and more rain!
Cute--I love the giveaway Catholic school D'Nealian writing with the curves on the ends of the letters--my 1st going into 2nd grader writes the the same way!

When our first baby was placed in my arms I knew there was no place I wanted to be other than home with him every day. Twenty five years, and five more babies later, (six children, now ages 27-7), I still feel the same. I can’t imagine a more challenging, fulfilling, rewarding “job” than being a mom. It truly is a vocation, and I feel blessed beyond measure. See more in About Me tab at top of page.
