This week I am grateful for:
-Early bedtimes due to pure school exhaustion.
-Good teachers. I had lots of orientation nights this week, and oh boy, what an art teaching is. I just adore those really really passionate, energetic, dedicated teachers.
-My mother. I have a good one. She happens to be one of those teachers above also.
-Andrew's laugh attacks. He had a good one the other day. He cracked
himself up this time. It was some comment about a brother's supposed girlfriend years and years ago, you'd never think it was funny, but he could hardly get it out. All we have to do though is look at him during one of these laugh attacks, with his tears streaming down his face, and pretty soon we are all crying with laughter too.
I love gratitude posts.
ReplyDeleteAmen to caring dedicated teachers!!!
ReplyDeleteAndrew had me laughing! I love when kids have laughing fits, it really is contagious.
Oh how I love a good belly laugh like that. So cathartic!
ReplyDeleteAwww isn't it great to be a kid and be completely overtaken with laughter?? That does not happen in adulthood often enough. Love that you captured it with your camera!
ReplyDeleteMy son has these laughing fits too, I think they're the greatest joy of parenthood. Adorable.

Sarah, I love your Friday Gratitude posts! It is such a good reminder for us to always focus on the goodness in our life. :) That laugh is definitely contagious!
ReplyDeleteThat laugh attack is the sweetest thing I've ever seen! We have quite a few of those around here..I need to document it like you did! :)
ReplyDeleteHa! Love it! My kids went to bed at 7:30 last night because I was so sick of the crankiness and attitude. My 7 year old, Max has laughing fits all of the time and we can't help but join him in his hysterics.

Once again I think my Tanner and your Andrew were separated at birth! Tanner has those same giggle attacks, especially over his own jokes. He can hardly get them out he laughs so hard. We laugh so hard too, even though we have no clue what he is saying! Glad you got some pics of it, I should do that with my guy, too. :)
ReplyDeleteI totally have that same alarm clock. Except mine's pink. Does yours speed up time too? Weird how clocks do that...
ReplyDeleteWe are having a hard time adjusting to the school exhaustion. Sometimes we get the giggles and sometimes we have tears...It is hard to get up at 6:45 for middle school...that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteCatching up after a broken computer. Love this post :)
ReplyDeleteI am laughing just looking at Andrew's pictures! Those moments are the best!
