What I am grateful for this week:
1. Isaac is 17 and still takes time (and enjoys!) to play with Patrick every single day. We have a whole year before he leaves for college and I just don't want to think about that right now so let's not.
2. A few fall sports are winding down the next week, and I am grateful that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel: less rushed dinners, less driving, less busy weekends. I feel like my head is going to spin off, honestly I do.
3. My best friend Renee who always gives me great sensible advice and takes time to listen to me blab on and on about just about everything. I don't know what I'd do with out her.
My word - Isaac doesn't look old enough to be going off to college next year (or maybe I'm just getting older ??? :)
ReplyDeleteLove that commercial too - thanks for sharing xx
I was thinking the same thing...he looks so young! Our daughter is a senior. Our fall sport is winding down too, and I am looking forward to a less hectic schedule as well. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSports are great, but when they're over...whew!:)
ReplyDeleteBest friends are the best and so are older siblings loving little ones!:)
have a happy day sarah
I love the first game of the season so much that I can't believe I love the last game of the season just as much!! Isn't it wonderful that siblings are friends and enjoy each other's company, those times are heart warming for us moms!
ReplyDeleteI was laughing so hard at the commerical I almost fell off my chair! My 21 month asked me "u, ok?" Then she started laughing too...She's a social laugher. I can't even imagine my oldest leaving the nest...of course that is 8 years away. I enjoy your blog by the way.
ReplyDeleteIssac does look so young:) That's so special how he spends time with his little brother.
ReplyDeleteThat commercial is funny! Have you seen the car commercial with the little boy who's dressed in the Darth Vader suit and keeps trying to use the "force" on things? It's so cute and makes me think of my boys - they've always loved Star Wars!
OK that commercial was really good and then they showed a roommate one. So funny!
ReplyDeleteLove that your kids have so much fun together!
Isaac looks like he's 12, but do NOT tell him I said that!!!
ReplyDeleteThat commercial was so funny!
I love the teenage girl's 'whatever' at the end. So classic.
That commercial is hi.lar.i.ous!!! I am all for cutting the grocery budget, but....
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for writing the way you do and 'cutting the crap', so to speak. I appreciate your honesty in confidently fulfilling your calling as a stay at home mom and doing is so well. It's nice to see some one else preserving the sanctity of motherhood!
That commercial was hilarious! Great one!
ReplyDeleteSibling relationships are truely something to be grateful for.
