My glasses. I never wear them...they are emergency back up glasses. The kids seem to love them though.

Did you wax leaves yet? We are working on that this week. They are coming down in droves around here.
Andrew has been writing me a note every night before bed and leaving it for me on the kitchen counter, or sailing it down the stairs in a paper airplane.
So cute. One day he left me one that just said, "Have a nice day." I set it where I can see it when I wake up every day. A good reminder.

ReplyDeleteI finally found that mop this week and I love it! After using the Swiffer wet jet I found out that it shouldn't be used on hardwood floors. Now I can make my own mixture of vinegar and water and start to remove the waxy layer that the swiffer lleft behind! Thank you for sharing -

ReplyDeleteSo funny you mention the mop....i just saw it at target on sale for $16.99 (i think!) with a mail in rebate and there is a $3 off coupon on target.com!!! I am so gettng that baby tomorrow. I need a mop that can change my life!!!haha

I love the american girl catalog!! I always wanted Kirsten because I am of swedish descent and somehow that makes me feel like she could be in our family--sigh... now my girls are too old, too. Dumb clothes.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear about the mop. I have been thinking about buying one. I think I saw one at Target and at Home Depot too. Now I feel like I can't live without one! I love dolls. My daughter is 11 and still loves her dolls and My Little Ponies...so happy. We homeschool and one of the benefits is not outgrowing stuff to fast. I am afraid even with that she will not want a doll when she is your daughter's age:)

I saw your previous post about the mop and I thought the idea was great. I snatched one up the next time I saw one at the store (different brand, but same concept). I LOVE it!!! No more trudging back and forth with the mop and bucket. And the kids love to use it too...a little too much. :-)
ReplyDeleteAren't the notes just the best? I absolutely cherish the ones from my 4 yr old. Trying to think of a way to save and display them without my walls behind a wall of love notes. Wish my 12 yr old still wrote them. :)

I LOVE Kit too---she is my favorite!!! Luckily I still have 2 little ones----ages 6 and 4---and I think you've convinced me that one of them needs Kit!!!

Do you make your own wreath? What nativity scene do you use? How does it work when Christmas falls on the 4th Sunday, like this year?

I once visited a lady who had dolls all over her living room!! They had their own chairs and settees and baby carriages and rocking chairs, you name it they sat in it! She said they were her friends and kept her company.
ReplyDeleteLike the graduation picture of my youngest I have on the bookshelf...I bought her and her sister two American Girl dolls just a year too late. They enjoyed them for a few months and then we put them away for their girls!

ReplyDeleteThis is so funny ... I have three boys and yet a few years ago I requested an American Girl catalog. Now, whenever it comes, my boys carry it with two fingers (it has cooties, you see) and give it to me. As a little girl I loved dolls, so it's fun just looking at it.
