I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed new year! Thank you for writing such thoughtful, insightful posts! I'm almost an empty nester but I still feel like I can learn to be a better mom and grandma. I agree with so much of what you say, and it makes me happy to know there are still people with courage to stand for what they believe, even if it isn't the popular choice. Your children are truly lucky to have you for their mom, and someday they will be able to see all you have done for them and be truly grateful.
My very favorite picture...a large version is hanging above my piano as we speak! :)
Merry Christmas Sarah to you and your family. Thank you for your insightful words of wisdom and being a champion of motherhood and family values...you are someone I look up to very much!
When our first baby was placed in my arms I knew there was no place I wanted to be other than home with him every day. Twenty five years, and five more babies later, (six children, now ages 27-7), I still feel the same. I can’t imagine a more challenging, fulfilling, rewarding “job” than being a mom. It truly is a vocation, and I feel blessed beyond measure. See more in About Me tab at top of page.
