Haircuts for all boys.
Peanut butter cookies. (Recipe here.)
Visitors from Ireland-my brother and sister-in-law and their son, the cutest little boy ever, Abe.
A little nesting. (Just a little.) My friend Jane is recovering my bassinet for me, can't wait.
Patrick's first t-ball game. He woke up at 6 a.m. to remind me to wake him up at 7:30 a.m. Like I could forget. He's been asking every day since the last practice.
Total bathroom gut. Love it. Well not the construction part but the new, easy to clean bathroom part coming soon. (Don't you like the vintage patriotic wallpaper?)
Hair cuts... I have to put that one my to-do list. Landon hates to have his hair cut, so we do it like every 6 months - cut it really short and wait until it's super long before we endure the torture again.
ReplyDeletePatrick is so darn cute. I can't believe how much he's grown. Hope you're feeling good. I remember how tired I was those last few months. But gosh Sarah, the count down is really here!! You're almost done, and soon you'll have that sweet baby in your arms. So exciting.
ReplyDeleteThat wallpaper is great! You should try to salvage some and frame. Can't wait to see your bathroom!
ReplyDeleteI love how you are a no frills kind of girl. Since you are experienced with infants, can you tell me what baby items are essential and what items are just fluff and in the way. We are bringing home a newborn from the hospital in a week or two to foster and I am racing to get the essentials.
ReplyDeleteIf you cut your own boys hair, I'd love some tips on that! Maybe you already have it somewhere on the blog but it's something I've been wanting to try for a while now.
ReplyDeleteSarah, I hired a handyman to gut and remodel my basement bathroom for my downstairs " girls dormitory" and the result has been girls sleeping on the living room floor for six months. I feel myself in a nesting crazy spiral because I called him last night to ask why it's taken nearly as long for him to put in a shower and pre-fab sink as it has for me to cook another human being!
ReplyDeleteMy husband said be nice, but nesting doesn't handle worker tools in various piles all over my home and property very well :) good luck, it'll be beautiful!
You are brave to tackle a bathroom remodel with all the kiddos home for summer, and while being prego! Loving all the summer activities.
ReplyDeleteSo fun to see what you are up to Sarah! I'm excited to see the new bathroom! :)
ReplyDeleteWow... that wall paper is... somethin' haha Can't wait to see it finished!
ReplyDeleteWe have those same t-ball shirts ;) I can't believe I never see you around town at athletic events. My Noah is the same age as your Patrick, but I'm not putting him in t-ball until next year so maybe then. Can't wait to see the bathroom.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that wallpaper.
ReplyDeletehmm.. easy to clean bathroom you say? I'd like one of those, what does that look like?
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the remodel. Your amazing!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your new bathroom! I've learned renovations are not easy with little ones right around the corner. : ) Best of luck!
ReplyDeleteYou are a brave woman! Bathroom renovations, kids on vacation, pregnant .... hope it all goes well
ReplyDeleteNice post. It's true, everyday is a school day, so thank you for teaching me something today!
