Lots of you early shoppers have asked me where my post is that lists some of our family favorite toys, games and books. I put a button up over in my sidebar so it's easy to find, but I haven't updated yet for 2013. I will try to get to that soon!
Sarah, thank you for posting that link. I also remember a couple posts that you have done about books that your Isaac was either assigned to read at school or by you, that I would like to look into for my oldest son. Would you be willing to post a link to those or send me an email with those titles? When you have nothing else to do of course! :) Thank you so much! My email address is: rkstodds at gmail dot com.
Thanks so much Sarah ! We are trying to do a few less toys and luckily my kids love books and drawing, coloring etc. Great suggestions, I have already added them to my ever growing Amazon cart !
i bought the i build a road track/cars for my one of my boy's b-day in july and it was and still is a big hit- my 12 y.o. boy said next to lego- this was the best toy! i also took your rec and bought the mag-formers (a bit cheaper than mag-tiles) and again - big hit! one last of your recs- diary of a wimpy kid- oh my- we ended up purchasing the whole series and my kids- 12-7 laugh their heads off- each of them has read the whole series...so thank you so much! looking forward to any updates! :)
Thank you again for repost. Last year each of my 4 children received at least 2 items from your post. Favorites are magatiles and vintage typewriter. Funny to have typewriter opened and no child knows what it is!!!!
When our first baby was placed in my arms I knew there was no place I wanted to be other than home with him every day. Twenty five years, and five more babies later, (six children, now ages 27-7), I still feel the same. I can’t imagine a more challenging, fulfilling, rewarding “job” than being a mom. It truly is a vocation, and I feel blessed beyond measure. See more in About Me tab at top of page.
