The view from your rainy day window is so much better than the view from mine....mine includes snow, bleach. At least your view looks a bit like spring. :-)
Sarah you have to try the PBS show Call The Midwife. I think you will really like it. The first season, 6 episodes, is currently on Netflix. Also when I looked yesterday the iPad PBS app had 3 episodes from the first season available to watch. I understand the 2nd season begins at the end of the month here in the states.
I love to have a day off school with my littlest one (Patricks age) I miss him so much when he is at school. The 2nd series of Call the Midwife is better than the first.....more heart wrenching make sure you have those tissues handy.
Oh what I wouldn't give for a day like that! (We haven't had near enough rain and winter in these here parts for my liking and summer is coming hard and fast... we're skipping spring apparently!)
I LOVE your living room! We are excited about March madness over here too. At every commercial my boys will run outside to shoot then run back in. They keep track on their bracket sheets every year. So fun!
I read your blog everyday and love it. I am Irish but live in the U.K. I agree with a comment above, I think you would love 'Call the Midwife'. Cathy X
When our first baby was placed in my arms I knew there was no place I wanted to be other than home with him every day. Twenty five years, and five more babies later, (six children, now ages 27-7), I still feel the same. I can’t imagine a more challenging, fulfilling, rewarding “job” than being a mom. It truly is a vocation, and I feel blessed beyond measure. See more in About Me tab at top of page.

ReplyDeleteYou certainly savour the moments with our little ones, because we already see with our older children who quickly time flies xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love days cancelled because of snow for this reason. They're a little bonus on my calendar.
