The last photo with the doll house and now a pair of high heeled shoes and a dress just killed me. Thinking of my 7 year old daughter who will one day grow into a woman.

LOOOOOVE IT! Yep, that last photo was the kicker for me too! Happy Mother's Day to you! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and encouragement with us every day of the year!
Happy Mother's Day Sarah! It looks like a perfectly normal Mother's Day. Perhaps I'll put up on my blog the way my Mother's Day started today....I have a lovely photo of an American Dog tick which was attached to Billy's arm...ugh!
Your pictures made me smile. I just sent my two oldest back to their boarding school after a chaotic but nice week-end. The house does not look pretty tonight and the ironing board is covered with Ts, shirts... and still I'm smiling. Thank you
Happy Mother's Day! I love that you photographed so many things that are potential irritants: shoes all over, bikes left willy nilly, TP waiting to be locked-and-loaded, bags and bags of food that will disappear in the blink of an eye. All of these things are evidence of the abundance we have as mothers of young children who are still learning to bring order to their universes.
That photo with the prom dress and shoes with the blue dollhouse behind truly got to me. It goes way, way too quickly. What a great photo. Thanks for sharing.
When our first baby was placed in my arms I knew there was no place I wanted to be other than home with him every day. Twenty five years, and five more babies later, (six children, now ages 27-7), I still feel the same. I can’t imagine a more challenging, fulfilling, rewarding “job” than being a mom. It truly is a vocation, and I feel blessed beyond measure. See more in About Me tab at top of page.
