Is anyone watching The Paradise on PBS? I am and love it. It's no Downton, of course, but it's really good and I look forward to it every Sunday evening.
I made these the other day and they are better than ever. I also made pumpkin bread but I was talking on the phone when I was measuring the ingredients, and I must have missed something because I baked up five mini pumpkin bricks.
Scooping the goop.
Janey laughs so hard at the boys outside jumping around, she can hardly catch her breath.
I've had these cute little trick or treaters for years. I remember Patrick used to love these "friends" at Janey's age. (I bought them from Michaels.)
Janey kisses them and throws them to the ground.
I often find them looking like this, poor guys.
I love that Patrick is wearing his costume while carving the pumpkins, that's something my John will be doing as well, getting into the spirit of the holiday. Janey, what a sweet gift for your family, she's adorable!
ReplyDeletelol she is so cute.
ReplyDeleteluv her polka dots no fair.
so cute how she laughs at the boys.
o man she is a hoot!
Your posts always put a smile on my face! Janey is such a doll!! I love this time of year too!! Enjoy
ReplyDeleteJaney is so funny! Thanks for getting my morning started off with a laugh!
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet photos! They grow up so fast so it's fun to be able to celebrate Halloween still with kids. Mine is probably on her last trick or treating at 12. New follower! I love your honesty on your pumpkin "bricks". It happens to all of us. Take care - Dana
ReplyDeleteThe Paradise is really good, but I'm very impatient and have watched all the episodes on line. It does have a good ending though.
ReplyDeleteThe pumpkin bricks...that is so something I would do! Janeys cheeks look so darn kissable!!
ReplyDeleteThe kids are all so precious.
ReplyDeleteJaney!!!! Oh my goodness---so, so cute!!
ReplyDeleteWe have just started the Paradise, Season 2 over here! I'm loving it too! Janey is just your mini-me! She looks so like you!
ReplyDeleteThose cookies look like they are to die for!!! We just carved our pumpkins last night too. I always forget what a slimy gross mess they make. But...they are so worth the effort :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so darn adorable!! Makes me miss having a toddler. Enjoy your fall, headed into Summer here in Oz and looking forward to the craziness that is end of school year and Christmas all wrapped up in one!
ReplyDeleteCould you tell me where you bought that rug in the last picture? I am looking for one just like it!
ReplyDeleteI can't remember where I bought it-maybe Ballard?-but the tag says Safavieh Anatolia.

DeleteThank you so much!
DeleteI'm am watching this show now- so funny that you just posted about it.
ReplyDeleteToo cute!
ReplyDeleteKisses them, then throws them to the ground... pretty describes how my toddlers treat EVERYONE in their path lately!
ReplyDeleteVery cute pictures. Love Janey's outfit. :)
I watched the first episode of The Paradise last night after I read this post. I loved it! I'm still mad at Downton, so I've been needing a good British period drama to fill the gap. Thanks for the recommendation!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see the picture and what you wrote, "she kisses them and throws them down" I can NOT quit laughing. Sounds just like a girl with a lot of brothers! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love those trick-or-treaters, they look like they'd be good "friends" for my toddler too! Many of the houses in our neighborhood have tons of skull/skeleton decorations, it kind of freaks me out, so those look really cute. Looks like y'all are having such a happy fall! (I'm a long-time reader but first-time commenter (I think), thanks for sharing!)
