When our first baby was placed in my arms I knew there was no place I wanted to be other than home with him every day. Twenty five years, and five more babies later, (six children, now ages 27-7), I still feel the same. I can’t imagine a more challenging, fulfilling, rewarding “job” than being a mom. It truly is a vocation, and I feel blessed beyond measure. See more in About Me tab at top of page.

ReplyDeleteHow fitting that you posted this my first day home with my littles! I quit my job after 11 years to stay home with my 7, 4, 2, and 4 month old. Your blog had been such an inspiration for me since I found it when we were both pregnant in 2012 (my son will be 3 on Sept 7th). I feel like this post is a sign that I made the right decision and I am right where I'm supposed to be....home! Thank you!
