THANKS, I've been really aggravated with my teenager (he's 15) and his moodiness...I've found myself speaking back to him in the same manner he talks to me. I try to be cheerful but the second he starts being his gloomy, short self, I start back with the same language. Thanks for this reminder! I need to be the ADULT and know that eventually he will "outgrow" this stage. (BTW: he's not rude or disrespectful, just woe is me, moody....).
When our first baby was placed in my arms I knew there was no place I wanted to be other than home with him every day. Twenty five years, and five more babies later, (six children, now ages 27-7), I still feel the same. I can’t imagine a more challenging, fulfilling, rewarding “job” than being a mom. It truly is a vocation, and I feel blessed beyond measure. See more in About Me tab at top of page.
