I absolutely love this quote! It is one of my favorites.
I have gained so much knowledge and wisdom from you to which I am truly grateful for. You are one of my mother mentors and I love how you are standing up and relaying the importance of motherhood and how to raise loving, kind children while also loving motherhood! You are a wonderful mother. Thank you for being such a great example. As a young mother of three children, 2.5 years and younger, I appreciate you. Thank you for fighting for us moms.
I thought that I would recommend such a wonderful talk given on motherhood that I had just recently heard from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints during General Conference. It was given by Jeffrey R. Holland in the Saturday morning session.
The other day I found myself thinking about my life. In high school I was not popular. I didn't really participate very much, and didn't really have a lot of friends. In college I was still quite shy and not very involved in anything. But even with my shyness and everything else, I look back now and thing how very little it mattered. I have five children and 20 grand children. They are all doing so well in there lives. Somewhere I did something right. I decided that it really doesn't matter how popular, involved or busy you are in high school. It is what happens in your family that really counts. Being able to look at your children and see beautiful happy families. Productive families. I just feel so good about how my life has turned out. I pray for all of them everyday that they too will feel the success that I have felt. Thank you for this beautiful quote.
Such a precious quote! Thank you, Sarah, for being a never-ending source of inspiration for me! I reposted the quote here, on my blog: http://blue-jeans-girl.blogspot.ro/2015/10/something-i-believe-in.html Have a wonderful week!
When our first baby was placed in my arms I knew there was no place I wanted to be other than home with him every day. Twenty five years, and five more babies later, (six children, now ages 27-7), I still feel the same. I can’t imagine a more challenging, fulfilling, rewarding “job” than being a mom. It truly is a vocation, and I feel blessed beyond measure. See more in About Me tab at top of page.

Thank you Monica. Another reader sent me that talk also and I saved it to listen when I have a chance. Can't wait and thank you again.
