What lovely sentiments. As an empty nester, I miss waking up my children. I miss their noise. I miss their mess...the random shoe or sock...a headband on the coffee table. The laughter. The tears. I miss kissing boo boos. My consolation is knowing they have been raised in goodness and love and are fine, compassionate beings. By loving our children well, we have touched the future. Blessings to you Sarah.
When our first baby was placed in my arms I knew there was no place I wanted to be other than home with him every day. Twenty five years, and five more babies later, (six children, now ages 27-7), I still feel the same. I can’t imagine a more challenging, fulfilling, rewarding “job” than being a mom. It truly is a vocation, and I feel blessed beyond measure. See more in About Me tab at top of page.
