Sarah have u heard of the great English childrens author Shirley Hughes? my daughter aged 4 adores The Big Alfie and Annie Rose storybook the most! I think you'd really appreciate it the illustrations are perfect and the stories warm, homely and simple. Thank you for all your book recommendations my son and I are currently reading where the red ferns grow xx
