I love this. My freshman year in college, far away from home, as I walked to school each day I would pass the prettiest little orange daisies growing out of a crack in the sidewalk. They brightened my day every day and I was so grateful! Sometimes it's those little things that really make the difference...if you look for them.
When our first baby was placed in my arms I knew there was no place I wanted to be other than home with him every day. Twenty five years, and five more babies later, (six children, now ages 27-7), I still feel the same. I can’t imagine a more challenging, fulfilling, rewarding “job” than being a mom. It truly is a vocation, and I feel blessed beyond measure. See more in About Me tab at top of page.

ReplyDeleteThis is so true. It is a choice to see the flowers, especially when they are amid weeds. xo
ReplyDeleteI have also found this to be true. We find what we look for.
